Treatments for Back Acne

from O'Daniels: Acne on the face is embarrassing but during the summer, having back acne is just as devastating. This is especially true if you live near the beach or you plan on going on vacation where you will wear a bathing suit. Acne on your back is hard to treat because it is not something you can easily get to but if you have someone to help you then it should not be a problem.

Explaining Back Acne
The reasons for back acne are the same as face acne. The reason why you get back acne can be from hormones, stress or clogged pores. This is not due to being unclean which is a common myth. This is usually due to physiological problems with bacteria caught in your pores or hormones causes stress to your skin.
Treatment for Pimples
It is important to keep your back free from sweat, which can aggravate pimples. You may also want to use a body wash, which is specifically made for acne. You can find many body washes on the market today that have acne medication included in the wash. Usually you will find that the medication is either Benzoyl Peroxide or Sacillyc Acid. Both of have been effective for fighting pimples.
Your back will become dry when using medication. So make sure to use some quality moisturizer on your back. You need to keep your back from getting dry because it will cause you to breakout even more if it becomes irritated.
If you need additional help with the pimples on your back, you can use any of the topical agents used for the face. These topical medications have a specific amount of medication concentrated in the solution. It is usually more than what is in the body wash. Be careful with using both the body wash and the topical lotion because it may overly dry out your skin.
If your back acne is resistant to over-the-counter medication, then you will need to consult with a dermatologist. This doctor can help you with some additional tricks in keeping your back free from pimples. Your dermatologist will also be able to prescribe you an oral medication that is an antibiotic. The antibiotic will attack the bacteria found in your pores. A bacterium is one of the causes of acne so treating from the inside out is effective. You may also receive some topical creams like you purchased from the store. This has a higher concentration of back acne solution.
The most important thing to remember about fighting acne is that it does take time. If you do not see important in a couple of days do not stop treatment. It may take weeks before you see any change at all.
